The client

Coditas, in the label industry.

The problem

Coditas’ machine operations optimization work was built in R, a language that’s often a poor fit for production integration, maintainability, and the broader Python-centric tooling ecosystem most engineering teams standardise on.

The approach

NSArrows migrated the optimization system from R to Python, re-implementing the machinery optimization logic natively rather than wrapping or bridging the existing R code, so it could be maintained and extended using standard Python tooling going forward.
